An amazing stop… before a celebration of life! Meg is incredible, she brought a smile to our face on a grey day, not to mention an incredible latte and the best egg salad sandwich (don’t tell me mom). Her art that adorns the walls is next level (no pictures out of respect). A subtle pass it forward wall for a drink and snack on difficult days, or the ones you forget your wallet. A comfortable, calm space, with the best energy! We will be making a drive just to visit.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and the comforting aroma of fresh coffee and baked goods. The atmosphere is cozy without trying too hard—just the perfect blend of hometown charm and relaxed comfort. The coffee is exceptional, clearly made with care, and the pastries taste like they were pulled from someone’s grandmother’s recipe box (in the best way possible). Their breakfast and lunch options are delicious, generously portioned, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell every dish is made with pride. What really sets perked pierogi apart though, is the sense of community. It’s the kind of place where the staff learns your name, locals chat between tables, and you feel at home even on your first visit. If you’re anywhere nearby, make the trip. Perked Pierogi is something special.

I've driven past this little gem in Grand Valley so many times and it was never the right time to stop...well today was the day, and it was well worth the wait. We had the dill pickle perogies smothered with onions and bacon, and a side of sour cream. While we got them for the road, we still enjoyed the friendly and cozy atmosphere while our order was cooked up. We will definitely be stopping again when we pass through Grand Valley!
